Notes:
Every effort was being made to attract custom on the Liverpool and North Wales route. In 1849 the Dublin Steam Packet Company acquired a small paddler, the Fairy, to develop short 'excursion cruses' around Anglesey, calling at Holyhead to visit the construction of the breakwater. She also made trips from Llandudno to the Menai Straits and Bardsey Island, where “passengers will enjoy a view of the most romantic scenery that can possibly be presented to the eye”. From press reports of the day these excursions appeared to be well-patronised throughout the summer months.

In July 1881 the company absorbed the recently formed Liverpool, Llandudno & Welsh Coast Steamboat Co. Ltd and although Fairy was absorbed by the new company, she was sold for scrapping in November.
